What's New - Tiny Additions, Big Impact!
Old House Journal
September 2016
The venerable, and original, restoration publication “Old House Journal” has brought together some wonderful design ideas in the current September issue. OHJ editor and owner Mary Ellen Polson gave an early call to Stephanie Croce (senior designer at JP Weaver Co.) for inclusion in the edition. Mary Ellen wanted to showcase a single ornamental element from the JP Weaver catalogue that could lend itself to several possibilities.
Mary and Stephanie decided on JP Weaver’s beautiful Deco Sunburst Ceiling Medallion (part #RMF 4064). Reminiscent of the decorative art style of the late 20s to early ‘30s, this carving is set off by precise and bold geometric patterns. This is an exquisite piece that invites wonderful and imaginative color possibilities, including gilt. Although the lion share JP Weaver’s catalogue leans towards French design, we also have generous offerings in a myriad of design categories.
We send a warm thanks to Mary Ellen and all the wonderful folks at Old House Journal - the premiere resource for restoring old houses. The September issue is available online where you’ll find products and services for homes built before 1950 and everything you'll need for your old-house restoration projects.
