PR 5686 - Bamboo
A Bamboo linear that makes an interesting border.
3/4"W x 7/16"D x 94"L
RMF 1024 - Small Oak Leaf and Acorn
The use of the oak leaf & acorn goes back centuries in ornamentation. This piece is a restoration of a carving done in mid 17th century.
1 3/4"W x 7/8"D x 87"L
RMF 2086 B - Fruit Linear
It's a little narrower than the Slotkin Fruit and there is no crossed ribbon. The grapes and fruit certainly denote a more "Italianate" flavor which is perfect for kitchen or dining room areas.
2 1/2"W x 1"D x 92 1/2"L
RMF 1060 - Slotkin Fruit with Crossed Ribbon
This piece is deeply carved in a basic half round profile. It is an interpretation of some of the beautiful early Italian carvings of fruit and flowers.
3 1/2"W x 1 3/4"D x 68"L
RMF 2891 - Running Laurel
A larger example of florid fanning laurels and berries. We have put it on a slight convex curve to accentuate the relief.
4"W x 1 1/2"D x 95"L
RMF 28910 - Running Laurel
We have added a backer to the RMF 2891. In some instances you may want to stack another moulding on either side of this piece to create a chair rail effect. The backer would give you a straighter surface to work to.
4 1/2"W x 1 1/8"D x 98"L
RMF 1021 - Empire Casing
Inspired from Napoleon’s architects Percier and Fontaine, this wonderful casing strikes a bold masculine motif which can be seen throughout many of the royal chateaux of France.
4 1/2"W x 7/8"D x 105"L
RMF 1032 - Olak and Laurel Leaf Frieze
This historical piece is from the "Album Moderner Baudecorationen". Note the actual acorns and twigs blended into the sculpted leaves to recapture the original.
5 1/8"W x 1 1/4"D x 54"L
RMF 6603 - Austin Frieze
Inspired by a 17th century ceiling, we created this frieze to reflect the character of the original. It is a finely detailed dimensional collage of fruit and flowers. We have borrowed from the great 16th century Flemish painter and added an occasional butterfly and beetle hidden in the foliage.
5 1/4"W x 7/8"D x 92"L
RMF 1005 - Italian Fruit
This is a hearty, dimensional use of vegetables and fruit. It is reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance flavor that made its appearance through all subsequent periods.
5 3/8"W x 1"D x 84"L
RMF 1004 - Grapes and Ribbon
This frieze is a charming combination of the eternally popular grapes and leaves. We have woven in ribbons and added an occasional tassel for a more unique interpretation. This piece is perfect for a bar, kitchen or family room. It also can be used as the main frieze design of a fireplace or the hood of a stove.
5 3/8"W x 7/8"D x 116"L
RMF 1007 - Morning Glory
The charm of the morning glory is not limited to any period.
5 3/8"W x 7/8"D x 91"L
RMF 1010 - Grinlng Gibbons
Inspired by the work of the great European carver, Grinling Gibbons (1648-1731), we took small branches from trees, leaves from plants, small ropes and blended them with our composition ornament. The effect is stunning.
6"W x 1 1/4"D x 79"L
RMF 1008 - French Flowers & Ribbon
Inspired by a border design of a French Rococo tapestry (circa 1740) we have tried to retain the charm of the original piece. This frieze has a little more depth in its bordering mouldings which helps it to stand alone as a crown or a decorative motif just below the crown line.
