RMF 40 - Lamb's Tongue Casing

 

This carving was originally part of a chair rail in the library of a mansion in Wisconsin, circa 1870. It reflects a certain restrained simplicity with a beautifully detailed Lamb’s Tongue. We have not altered the piece from the original.

This linear has the Lamb’s Tongue rolling on to an incorporated flat plane or “backer”. This dimensional moulding serves well when assimilated into a casing or panel moulding.

RMF 2060 E - Conseil Underpanel Splicer

 

This moulding is a combination of the RMF 1194 and a lambs tongue. This combination is the linear section of RMF 2060C. It too has many varied applications as an augmentation for setting up wall panels. As we began to use this piece we liked it so much that we made separate corners for it for expanded design applications. Se RMF 2060H - right and left.
