Weddings filled with the Glamor and Enchantment of Brigalias
December 2024
It’s easy to liken an ornamented room adorned with intricate details to a sense of romance. The lush fabrics, gilded frames, delicately carved furniture and dimensional mouldings convey a celebration of beauty, atmosphere and sensory appeal. If well designed, these elements can create a space that feels layered and intentional, inviting exploration and lingering, and an aura that’s decidedly romantic.
This was certainly the aesthetic direction Tina Brigalia was after when she approached the JP Weaver Company to design and supply the moulding for her wedding and banquet rooms at her eponymous facility, Brigalias, just a mere 35 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Two main ballrooms, The Camelot and Grand Ballroom, were impressive spaces featuring 24’ ceilings. The rooms featured huge windows with lots of natural light and Tina wanted to transform these blank canvases into something magical.
JP Weaver Senior Designer Stephanie Croce worked with Tina to create designs with an understated elegance tempered with a sense of glamor and enchantment. A massive ceiling rosette motif serves as the focal point to a magnificent room of beautiful wall panels flanked with dimensional pilasters terminating into Corinthian capitals.
A semi-rotunda extends the far end of the Ballroom, carrying the eye to an inviting space imbued with a delicate intimacy conveyed by the details of the dimensional mouldings from our Petitsin line. The warm muted finishes, under lighting and luxurious crystal chandeliers by Schonbek complete a tableau of detailed beauty to host venues perfect for creating cherished memories.
Brigalias marks one of the several ballrooms we have been commissioned lately. It’s beyond flattering to be considered for such large and rewarding projects. Regardless of size, our passion for design remains integral in all of our projects and for all of our clients. We look forward to, and welcome the opportunity to be considered for your project.
