Titanic Exhibition
Simi Valley, CA
August through December 2017
As pre-production for the international blockbuster film “Titanic” ramped up, the producers knew a key factor to the film’s success would lie in its authenticity. In sourcing the various materials and designs for the ships ornate interiors, the obvious choice became The J.P. Weaver Company.
The elegant salons and private suites of the great ship boasted an opulence and attention to detail the likes of which only JP Weaver could facilitate.
Once the final designs and drawings were approved, (many taken from reference of the actual ship’s plans and photographs), work commenced and JP Weaver Company provided all of the elements necessary for the re-creation of the great ship’s grandeur epitomized in its grand staterooms.
The wreck of the Titanic was discovered in 1985 under Ronald Reagan’s administration, and fascination of Titanic and her ill-fated voyage has never since waned. Now the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library has created an exhibition for HMS Titanic complete with Rose's stateroom set from the original film. Please come visit this wonderful exhibit and experience the time-worn elegance that has been a cornerstone of our business.
